The senior management team are profiled below:

David Overland - Chairman

David has 40 years experience in funding and promoting start up companies primarily in the property and medical sectors. Since 2001 he has chaired Bortec Laboratories Limited and BNCT Consultants, both medical research companies.

Joe Dickinson - Head of Business Development

Joe started by designing commercial computer systems for Convergent Technologies Inc., both in the U.S. and Europe. Over the past 15 years he has been in senior management roles in companies developing products for the Medical field. He has founded and worked within companies in the product and business development areas for new imaging and radiotherapy techniques.

Prof. Derek Beynon - Chief Scientist

Derek Beynon, MSc, PhD, DSc, FInstP, CPhys, is an Emeritus Professor at Birmingham University. His research interests include nuclear and reactor physics, plasma physics, radiation physics and radiation imaging. He is currently editor of the international review journal Progress in Nuclear Energy and on the editorial boards of two other major research journals.

Simon East - Chief Technology Officer

Simon has worked in the software industry for over 16 years. He started off at Psion developing programs for their range of portable computers and moved into project and then senior management. He was part of the management team that spun Symbian, the mobile phone operating system company, out of Psion in 1998. In 2001 he founded a mobile phone software start-up called Cognima where he was CEO up until late 2004. Simon holds a B.Eng in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Birmingham University.
